Welcome to this week's installment of the Weekly Wall of Fame! The Department has been getting so many submissions for the Weekly Fishing and Stocking Report that it's impossible to fit all of them in – but we wanted to give everyone who submits a photo a chance to show off their catch! From now on, the Weekly Fishing and Stocking Report will feature one photo from each region as that region's Catch of the Week. All other photos can be found here in the Weekly Wall of Fame, which will be updated each Thursday afternoon after the Fishing and Stocking Report is released. You'll be able to find the link on the Fishing and Stocking Report page on the Department's website. Please note that only submissions with photos included will be considered for inclusion in the Catch of the Week or Weekly Wall of Fame.

NORTHEAST

Pecos River: Alexandra Chavez caught and released 22 fish, but kept this trout after a good four hours of fishing using PowerBait on Aug. 26.

Pecos River: Jamerson and Deondre Tafoya caught and released a combination of rainbow trout, brown trout and cutthroat trout using elk-hair caddis and Adams flies on the Pecos River and Jack’s Creek on Aug. 31.

Pecos River: Lincoln Berg, age 4, caught his first fish – a trout – using Orange PowerBait while fishing with his family near Windy Bridge on Aug. 29.

Red River Hatchery: Miribella, age 8, of Rio Rancho caught a 13-inch rainbow trout using salmon eggs in the hatchery pond on Aug. 30.

NORTHWEST

Heron Lake: Joshua Sisneroz caught a 16-inch smallmouth bass using a gold Blue Fox Vibrax Wildeye Inline Spinner on Aug. 30.

Rio Chama: Cash Lujan, age 10, caught his limit of rainbow trout using nightcrawlers below El Vado Dam on Aug. 31.

San Juan River: Alex Morton caught five rainbow trout using Foam Emerger flies and San Juan worms on Aug. 24.

San Juan River: Fermin Cantu caught eight brown trout using a nymph fly on Aug. 21.

SOUTHWEST

Elephant Butte Lake: Brian Powers caught five smallmouth bass using minnows off the bank near Marina del Sur on Aug. 30.

SOUTHEAST

Bonito Lake: Gabriel Vigil caught his first brook trout using worms on Aug. 23 while fishing with his grandfather, James Vigil, who took all five of his grandsons on the trip.
